Meet Your Therapist

Emily Hoegh, LMHP

I’m so glad you’re here. If you’re looking for therapy in Grand Island, Nebraska — or anywhere in Nebraska via telehealth — you’re in the right place. Looking for the right therapist takes courage — and you’ve already taken a step just by reading this.

I’m Emily Hoegh, a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner offering therapy for women and couples who are ready for deeper, meaningful change.

Many of the women I work with are capable, thoughtful, and exhausted from holding it all together. Many of the couples I work with are stuck in the same arguments, miscommunication, or emotional distance — even though they genuinely care about each other.

You may understand the “why.”
What you haven’t had is support that helps you actually shift the pattern.

That’s where I come in.

So if you are ready to experience change, drop me a note. Share what’s been weighing on you. You don’t need a perfect plan — just a willingness to begin.

Can’t wait to connect!

My Approach to Therapy

A Deeper Way to Heal

When you work with me, we’re not skimming the surface. We’ll get into the real stuff—patterns you keep repeating, beliefs you’ve been carrying without realizing it, and the places where anxiety or old wounds are still running the show.

This work isn’t always comfortable, but that’s where real change happens. I’m not the sit-back-and-say-“uh huh” type of therapist. I’ll ask the questions that make you pause, help you connect the dots, and walk with you as you create meaningful change. I show up fully, and sometimes that means a good laugh together or a good cry—because this work is personal to me. It’s not just what I do; it’s who I am.

The Process

1.

In a 15 minute consultation call we will get to know each other better and a chat about what brought you here and what you’re looking for. I’ll answer any questions you have and we can see if we’re a good fit.

Schedule a Consultation Call

2.

Once we decide we are a good match (because you get to shop for therapists too—just like a good pair of running shoes), we will get you scheduled. We will meet weekly for the first 4 sessions to get through all the fluff and then get right to the good stuff.

Book the Sessions & Start the Work

3.

We do the WORK! This is the really beautiful part, the really hard part, the WORTH IT part. We talk goals, we examine core beliefs, examine relationships— we sift through what’s working and what’s not—we work on you. This is the sweet spot!
